I have created a number of exercises that work through on a step by step basis how to create financial models; how to perfom risk analysis; how to create Monte Carlo Simulation; how to analyze cost of capital and valuation multiples; how to construct real options analysis and other issues. Rather than working through large and complex exercises that include a whole lot of different aspects of models, these exercises evaluate small parts of analyses that focus on the mechanics of constructing analyses. Many of the exercises are discussed in chapter 2 of my book which addresses financial modelling. Most of the exercies include a button with a macro that allows you to complete the exercise along with explanations of what to enter in each cell. The video explanation below demonstrates how to work with one of the exercies and check whether you have understood the programming required for the financials models.
